I can't believe that I'm leaving for Rhode Island tomorrow morning. I'm finally done packing and hopefully won't run into any troubles at the airport. One year ago, I never would have thought that I could leave California any time soon. I am looking forward to so many things in the next three weeks. Through this course, I want to be able to find my voice and empower myself to make a positive change in my community. I hope to learn how to look outside of the box and to be the best that I can be. I know that I am capable of many things that I wouldn't be able to do without the Ivy League Connection. I know how this program expects me to be responsible and hardworking as if I were an adult. Please watch as the Women and Leadership ladies and I grow during our trip.
